About

BK Media is an independent consultancy founded by Bert Kok. I started in journalism at the Dutch news agency ANP and later built media-tech startups, including imgZine and RTreporter (acquired in 2015 by ORTEC). Recently I was lecturer Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the School of Journalism (Utrecht University of Applied Sciences). I also worked on many AI projects there. Today I work with news organizations and media ecosystems, including innovation brokerage and advisory work connected to Media Campus NL. I operate from Hungary.
